It didn’t take long for it to expand across Louisiana prior to it becoming one of the States of America. Saloons in New Orleans weren’t long in picking it up, putting on games for not only travellers to participate in, but residents of Louisiana itself. That game arrived at the port of New Orleans with French sailors, with the British game of “ Brag“ also coming across to the USA in the same way.
